6 Quick And Easy RV Camping Recipes

Most people think that oatmeal and hot dogs are some of the easiest recipes that are convenient for camping. But when you think of RV camping, you need to think about it in a totally different dimension.

You see, RV camping gives you multiple options when it comes to preparing delicious meals. In fact, this is one of the most awesome things about RV camping. It’s even possible to get most RV models being equipped with full kitchens which allow you to make any recipe of your choice.

But don’t strain yourself just because your kitchen is fully equipped. Try to simplify things so as to ease your recipes. If you want to have an enjoyable camping experience, the following are the 6 quick and easy RV camping recipes that you must prepare.

Sweet potato with beef delight

You can easily make this meal from simple ingredients. With some dry goods in hands, you will end up having a well-balanced diet with starch and protein.

Ingredients
1 lb beef (ground)
1 thinly sliced sweet potato
1 onion (diced)
1 6oz of tomato sauce
1 tablespoon of salt mixed with chili powder, pepper, and paprika

How to prepare
Roast the sliced sweet potato on the baking sheet at 400F for 15-19 minutes. As it roasts, sauté the diced onion on medium heat for 2 minutes.
Add the beef and fry it on medium heat until it’s no longer pink and then drain the beef juice.
Add the spices and tomato paste and mix them and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the beef to the sweet potatoes and garnish them with cilantro.

Rice with savory chicken

Alongside being healthy and delicious, this meal is extremely easy to prepare and you can make it in so many ways.

Ingredients
Rice (1 cup)
1 16-oz can tomato sauce
Water (1 cup)
A mix of Italian spice
1 16-oz can tomatoes, diced
3-oz can tomato paste
4 chicken thighs (meaty)
Veggies of your preference ( chopped)

How to prepare
Mix all the ingredients in baking dish and let them bake for about 20-25 minutes at temperatures of 350F.

Zucchini with lemon pepper salmon

Even if fish isn’t your thing, this meal will make you chew your arm off after a long day hike. Once you taste the meal, it will definitely become an instant favorite every time you go for an RV camping.

Ingredients
A sliced lemon
Salmon (2 fillets)
A few sprinkles of garlic powder, pepper, and salt
2 zucchini
1 tablespoon of olive oil

How to prepare
Coat the 3 fillets of salmon with olive oil. Sprinkle them with garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
Lay your lemon slices on the coated salmon.
Put the coated salmon in an oven baking dish and wrap it in foil.
Lay the sliced zucchini on the salmon and let them cook for 10-15 minutes at 340F.

Turkey Tacos

Tacos are great for RV camping simply due to their preparation simplicity. In addition, you can easily make the meal with extremely few ingredients.

Ingredients
1 bunch of cilantro
1 tablespoon of mixed spices
Ground turkey (1 lb)
2 tomatoes (diced)
Corn tortillas
of purple onion ( sliced)

How to prepare
Put the turkey and the spice mix and fry them on a medium flame. Add the diced tomatoes, onions and the chopped cilantro.
Cook the turkey until no pink color is left, drain its juice and lay the tortillas on the cooked turkey. Warm them by covering them for 2 minutes.

Egg, sausage, and Basil for breakfast

If you like protein for breakfast, then this will be your favorite meal in the morning. This is a delicious meal, and great to share with loved ones.

Ingredients
5 eggs
1 cup of potatoes (diced)
onions (diced)
Paprika, salt, garlic powder, and pepper
I bunch of basil
Cilantro
2 sausage links ( of your preference)

How to prepare
Place the potatoes and the sausage in a baking dish and sprinkle them with of the spices. Bake them at 340F for 12 minutes.
Mix them with the eggs and then sprinkle with the remaining ¼ spices. Cook them for 10 more minutes.
Remove them from the baking oven and garnish with basil or cilantro. Serve them with salsa.

In-A-Pinch pizza

Sometimes, when you go for RV camping, you may discover that you have no food left and you are far away from a grocery store. If you arm yourself with staple ingredients, you can easily make this amazing pizza and you won’t starve yourself.

Ingredients
Sliced veggies and a yellow peppers (sliced)
1 strip bacon
1 cut hot dogs
1 tablespoon tomato sauce
Mini pizza crusts (dry-packaged)
1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
Cheese

How to prepare
Spread the tomato sauce on the mini pizza crusts. Lay the other ingredients on the pizza and sprinkle on the Italian seasoning.
Bake the pizza according to its package.
Remove the pizza from the baking oven. Add the cheese.

The best thing with these recipes is that you can use common ingredients in almost all the meals. With ingredients such as rice, potatoes, onions and tomato sauce can easily create all kinds of delicious recipes.
