Top 10 Best Pop Up Camper Hacks

Pop-up campers are great for many reasons including affordability, low costs of maintenance, effectiveness, low weight, a large capacity, among other pleasantries that they offer. You’ve probably wondered how to make them even better.

Don’t worry. Here are a few hacks that can help you get the most out of your camper experience.

1. Use a cot as a dinner table for two people.

This is especially great if your camper doesn’t have a dining table or a kitchen island to eat your meals at. It’s also an easy way to make the best out of any kind of bad situation.

2. Use a ladder shelf while having some drinks.

This is a simple way to store things that are small but that you need on hand. For example, if you’re worried about where you can put your drink without it getting knocked over, or you want to keep track of something while sitting down, this is the perfect place for them.

3. Play board games while using lawn chairs and an extension cord as pieces.

If everyone has their little area in the camper, whether it’s a bed or a single chair, you’ll have no problem setting up some lawn chairs for additional seating during game night.

4. Use shower curtains with suction cups for curtain rods.

To save your walls from holes, or your camper from unevenness, you should always use a shower curtain with suction cups to hold up the one that came with the camper. This way, it won’t hurt the wall when you take it off.

5. Put a shelf on the front of your camper to store books or other knick-knacks.

If you’re traveling with kids, this is a great place to put coloring books, playing cards, or Legos so that they don’t get lost. They can also be used for storing cups or plates if you don’t want to use them while driving.

6. Make a pantry.

Build a pantry by storing items that you use often in hanging bags or suitcases inside plastic bins. This way, it won’t take up as much room, and will also never get lost under the bed or thrown into a corner because no one can find it again while cooking.

7. Use a hanger with an extension cord to hang lanterns up above your table while eating dinner.

Not only are these great for making an atmosphere during nighttime meals in your pop-up camper, but it also keeps them from flying off. Make sure that you use a sturdy hook so that it doesn’t come crashing down on anyone while they’re eating.

9. Store all of your bathroom and kitchen towels together.

Hang your towels off the sides of the shower curtain rods by placing hooks right by the opening. Most camper shower curtains already have hooks on them to do this, and it makes a convenient place to store things like hand towels or washcloths that would otherwise get dirty just from being out in the open.

10. If you have an outdoor propane cooktop with cast iron burners.

Hang your pots and pans off of them by using hangers or bungee cords so that they can all fit on one burner. This is a convenient way to organize your kitchen for both outdoor use and indoor cooking as well.

There are very many ways to add value to your already awesome camper. With these additional customized options, you will enjoy your trips more.
