20 Best RV Destinations in the west.

The first instinct that comes with owning an RV is basically traveling to different parts of the country, maybe a road trip, camping trip or whatsoever reason.

Well, this article features some of the destinations that you may choose to go to the west.

1. Angel Fire RV Resort

This resort is located among the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in northern New Mexico. It is commonly known for the amazing view it offers to the Moreno valley and also the fun activities which are horseback riding, zipline, biking, and even skiing,

2. Cayton Campground

This campground is located along San Juan skyway which is along the Colorado highway and the Dolores River.

It offers spectacular views of the scenery. The facilities offered in the camping site are amazing. There are nearby attractions from the bear creek trail to the La Plata Mountains.

3. Cedar City KOA

Its location is in Utah. The view of the large shade trees and the RV level pads are outstanding. It is the mountain getaway closest to Las Vegas.

The onsite amenities like the pool, playground and much more. The fun activities right from mountain biking, trout fishing, and even golf courses are all found in Cedar City.

4. Chula VistaRV Resort

It is located at the southern end of San Diego Bay. A great biking trail is offered within the resort and the landscape is remarkable. There are great restaurants around and picnic areas, it is the ideal place.

5. Colorado River State Park

This park is located in Fruita, Colorado. The park is close to wine tasting in Palisade, the Colorado National Monument and even fruit orchards. The whole site is amazing since it is a great place for bird watching.

6. Morro Bay State Park

It is a park on the Morro Bay lagoon in central California. It offers a spectacular view for bird watching, nature walks and people surf along the there. The area’s geology and history behind it brings out the fun in it.

7. Park City, Utah

Located in Utah, the Resort is found above the main street. The canyons around it interconnect and form this amazing large ski area. The nightlife that comes with it is superb. In addition, the town has this famous Sundance Festival.

8. Deadwood

This is found in South Dakota. The area is eye-catching and the weather is nice. It is filled with casinos and tourist shops. The campground near it, the Deadwood KOA, which downtown provides the amenities you may need.

9. Galveston

With the Stella Mare RV resort nearby, your family can visit this Texas site and have the best time. There numerous restaurants, antique stores, art galleries, and outstanding entertaining things. It also has the Victorian architecture preserved

10. Emerald Desert RV resort

Located in the palm desert of California, this resort offers a beautiful scenic view. It has its own amenities to satisfy and boosts one’s happiness. The nearby attractions are the Joshua tree state park and the Palm Springs.

11. Grand Canyon

This is the landmark known and heard all over. Found in the American West, Arizona. The amazing scenery that comes with it is outstanding. From the red-brown cliffs and the spectacular railings. Most people tend to hike or take a bike and survey the area

17. Malibu beach

Located in Malibu in California, this park offers a great view of the ocean and amazing sunsets that come with it. A nearby attraction is the Reagan library. To add to that comes the California nature around and the favorable weather.

This Park located at Winslow in Arizona is well known from the meteor crater. It offers a great view of the surrounding and peaceful yet private environment.

19. Mountain Home RV resort

Located at the Mountain home in Idaho, this RV resort offers a relaxing setting. The shade trees, the privacy, the green and amazing view all over and picnic tables this entire offer the best mood for relaxing. The nearby attractions include the Bruneau Dunes and Canyon overlook.

20. Refugio state beach

Found at Goleta in California. It is specifically at the Santa Barbara coast and near it is the Santa Barbara town. The wind that comes off the coast is magnificent for kite surfing and also a great view for bird watching.
