6 Months RV Living (& Why We’re Pissed)
RV Odd Couple, John and Mercedes sold their house and all their belongings to go and start RV Living across North America with independence, freedom, and adventure. They traded bricks and sticks back home for permanent RV living with their child and their dog too. Their friends and family thought they were running out of their mind.
The couple believes in honesty. Therefore in an attempt to be genuine, the couple spill out the tea regarding RV that other people are not ready to confess. Regardless of them being new to RV living and also new to the RV YouTube society, they share some of the things they have learned about RV living. Some things they wish somebody had cautioned them concerning their decision to start their fulltime RV living.
Little did they know that permanent RV living is not that simple. The place has its unusual way of life, and there is a lot to be learned before you manage full-time living RV. It doesn’t matter if you are in a fifth wheel, traveling with a trailer, or residing in a motor home. The RV living offers the chances to take your home with you everywhere you go. RV family travel is very hard, especially to a family with young children.

In their first month, Mercedes got infected by waterborne illness just from brushing the teeth with RV park water. They got more concerned regarding the quality of water in their RV. At the same time, they as well observed an unusual residue in their tea kettle and also on the shower. Afterward, their dog started to reject the water, and this concerned the couple since their dog is a picky eater. As a result, they had to look for quality water.
The couple was neither prepared for technology struggles and lack of internet.
They got an unlimited wireless plan from Verizon. They thought that they would be covered, but they were not aware that there were some places where Verizon had no service at all.
In other areas, the internet would just work at particular times of the day.

It was a disappointment after they found out that their pricey plan was not good in various places. They did not expect a lack of technology struggles and internet issues. It was a struggle having excellent and reliable internet.
The couple also made several buying mistakes where they experienced a lot of effort. Unknown to them, buying an RV I not like buying a house or car where you sign a credit application to know what you qualify for.
They approved a credit application to get figures on financing. Guess what? It turned out that they signed an RV Purchase agreement!
Another buying mistake was failing to realize that there is a secret blame game played by RV Manufacturers, RV Insurance/Warranty Companies, and RV Service Repair Shops.
They all put the blame each other to escape paying for the parts. When they finally agree to compensate for the parts, they take a very long time to do so.
It can take months to get your parts. The couple was very annoyed since it puts permanent RV living families at a vast safety risk. They have shared some of their adventure hoping that it will help others who are interested in RV living.
