Allstays Pro: My Honest Review

Allstays RV App is ranked among the top 10 mobile Apps for RVing. It has become a must-have for any RV enthusiast, either part-time or full-time. It is a great trip planner and even when you are cruising on the road.

It saves users money and ios handy when they are planning for their next RV destination.

There are various apps that an RVer cannot live without, and Allstays is one of them.

With as little as $9.9 in the App Store, you get yourself an App that that will do more than the value of that amount.

Through it, you will find free Rv dumps and various camping options.

Unfortunately, at the moment, it’s only available for the Apple iPhone version because the Android model was removed back in the year 2017.

There is, however, an alternative to the mobile app known as Allstays pro desktop version, which contains even more information than the mobile version.

Key features of Allstays pro

The moment you install the app, it will its location services to access the area where you are before displaying all the functions in that area. It also has the option of zooming in and out, moving the map as well as a choice of choosing from three different map views, namely, standard, hybrid, and satellite views.

My favorite is the standard map view. There are a total of six main categories that are displayed on the map, namely:

Camping: this includes county, state, and national parks, moose places, Elks Lodge, Walmart, national forests, and casinos.
Low clearances: This ranges from 7 to 15 feet
RV-related businesses: this includes service centers and dealers.
Rest areas, both with and without amenities
Stores: This shows Cabela’s stores, Bass Pro Shops, Camping World, Rei, Costco, Camp Propane Fils, etc
Truck shops: these include Loves, Pilot, and Flying J.

You can tap on any of these services, and it will show you an overview of the category.

For additional information, tap on the banner. The additional information that might be of interest to you includes phone numbers, images, websites, maps, weather, reviews, and ratings.

There is also an update section where you as the user, can submit some information such as there are four free RV parking spots available at the Walmart location,’ or overnight parking is no longer allowed in the Cracker Barrel location.

The information submitted by users is displayed below the GPS coordinates.

Standard filters

The six categories stated above can be easily filtered by tapping on the options you want to appear on the screen. This feature is mostly used when an individual is looking for specific services around the area.

Advanced filters

On the filter screen, you can tap on advanced filters, which is an available option that allows you to drill down even further. This is where you can search for any free campground spot.

Offline access

Whenever there is no cell service, you will find these offline features very useful. It, however, does not load the map in the background.

The application is user-friendly as one only needs to click on the application then its homepage will be displayed on your screen. On the homepage menu, you click on the camping option as that is what you are interested in doing. It will then display a wide range of campgrounds in your geographical location, and then you pick on your would-be destination campground.

What does Boondocking mean?

Since people’s camping interests vary from one person to another, some may opt to camp far away from the services and amenities found at Recreational Vehicle (RV) parks or in modernized campsites.

Can you park an RV overnight at Home Depot?
