15 Luxury Camping Hacks For RV Travel Trailers

Vacations are what everyone longs for. They give you an opportunity to have fun and enjoy a good time away from home and work.

Going out with your family and friends during the summer holidays can be quite awesome. Armed with an RV travel trailer and some essential items, you will be set to have a perfect time. Let’s see some of the luxury camping hacks you need to make your vacation amazing.

1. Carry ready-to-eat food

If there is any cooked food you wish to eat in the camp, prepare it at home. You can also pack non-perishable foods like canned meat, peanut butter, potato chips, and granulated sugar.

2. Warm clothes

It could be in summer, yes. But at night it will still be cold. Have warm clothing and sleeping bags in your travel trailer. If you have young kids, carry extra ones for them.

3. Improvise a pillow

You know a pillow can occupy a big space, right? What if you just insert clothes in the pillowcase and make it both a bag and a pillow?

4. Solar or hand-crank power station

Since you will be away from home, you need some power to charge your phone, laptop, and flashlight. You can have a solar powered generator.

5. Carry a tent

This is essential, especially at night. Your caravan may not be enough for the whole crew.

6. Pack microfiber towels

Unlike normal ones, microfiber towels are light and can absorb more water. They do not grow molds, hence your safety is guaranteed.

7. Use a first aid kit

You are going to the wilderness. Any accident and injury can happen. You need a first aid kit to take care of your health.

8. Buy a mosquito repellent

There are plenty of mosquitoes and other insects waiting to feast on you there. Brace yourself!

9. Invest in a portable charger

Having a power station with no charger is a disaster. Remember to pack one.

10. Carry beaten eggs

To avoid the tussle of mixing eggs somewhere in the middle of nowhere, beat and mix your eggs in advance. Pour them in a water bottle and carry to the campsite.

11. Use Silica gel packs

In moist weather, these packs can protect your utensils from rust and your electronics from humidity.

12. Pack Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap

This is a multipurpose unscented and natural soap. You can use it to wash your hair, body, mouth, clothes, dishes, and shaving.

13. Have a DIY lantern

Using a big translucent water bottle and a headlamp, you can improvise a lantern. Place the lamp on top of the bottom facing inside and secure it with straps.

14. Carry water purifiers

Purification tablets are the easiest to carry. Just ensure you take clean water to avoid infections.

15. Have a portable toilet

You do not want to poo in the bush, do you? A portable toilet is very essential to you and your team.

There are many more luxury camping hacks for RV travel trailers. You need to find out more of them and prepare for your camping. Make sure you have a checklist to help you during packing so that you do not forget important things.
